Second Day in Paradise
Although everything is laid back here, a few routines have been established. All the guys walk at 7 a.m., and the girls walk at 8 a.m. I am in the “slow” group for a mile-and-a-half walk around the golf course across the street. Later in the morning some boat issues came up: all of a sudden we had no water and no electricity in the galley. Thank goodness we had already had our morning coffee. Bob went to work. With some kibitzing from Larry, the problems were solved by installing a new water pump and changing settings on the inverter.
While Bob worked, I read. By late afternoon we started socializing and ended up with a group for dinner at an excellent Italian restaurant, Franks. It’s a good thing we will be walking in the mornings.
